09th of July 2010 - my garage Greased tape at all contact areas of the chassis, two passerbys obligated to lift the body...

09th of July 2010 - my garage ...and with the "topping out ceremony" the final assembly starts.

13th of July 2010 - my garage The construction of the hatch door starts. Here you can see the skeletal structure of the lower half.

14th of July 2010 - my garage Hinches and locking mechanism are mounted and you can see what it will look like.

17th of July 2010 - my garage The panels are welded.

29th of July 2010 - my garage Inbetween I have painted the hatch doors and the remaining attaching parts and I did the wiring needed to start the engine for the first test run. Happy with myself I took a look at my work and found out that I had forgotten to mount the ventilation flap before mounting the dashboard... Hence I will have to loosen some of the screws again. I used the chance to make a step by step documentation of the cockpit installation.

04th of August 2010 - my garage The rear part of the wiring and the fixing of the tail lamps was the work of this day.

14th of August 2010 - in front of my garage I could not drive to the German national meeting this weekend therefore I present you the progress of my handicrafts. The back of my number 2 looks almost complete.
